A dog carrier that looks like a handbag is often called a dog purse. Ours are carriers first, each built around how you move. The City Bag and the Shopper carry like a handbag, the Comfy Bag goes across the body and the Travel Bag is made for flights. If your day is mostly city, start with the City Bag or the Shopper. If you fly with your dog, start with the Travel Bag.

Travel Bag. A reinforced canvas interior, ventilation holes, a short safety leash and a removable faux-fur interior that lifts out for cleaning. A gold-plated Perro Collection logo plate sits on the front, and the bag comes with a protective dust cover.

City Bag and Shopper. A short safety strap, a small interior pocket for keys or phone, a smooth nylon lining that wipes clean and a removable faux-fur bottom.

Comfy Bag. A soft faux-fur lining and an interior D-ring to clip on your dog's harness.

Every bag starts from its own pattern. The leather is cut by hand, then constructed, stitched, reinforced and finished by hand. That is what the time goes into: the making, not the label. All our leather comes from Italy, from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group with a Gold Rating.

Which Perro Collection carrier can I take in the aircraft cabin?

The Perro Collection Travel Bag (40 x 20 x 27 cm) is suitable for cabin travel, subject to airline approval. Always check your airline's size and weight limits before you fly.

How heavy can my dog be?

The Perro Collection Travel Bag carries up to 8 kg in total, dog plus bag, and the bag weighs 2 kg. The City Bag and Shopper carry up to 6 kg, and the Comfy Bag carries dogs up to 5 kg.

How long does it take to make a Perro Collection bag?

Each Perro Collection bag takes 18 to 30 hours of handwork in the brand's own atelier in Tuscany, Italy.

Can I return a Perro Collection bag?

Yes. A Perro Collection bag can be returned within 14 days of delivery through the Perro Collection return platform, unused and with its original hangtags and packaging. Sale items are final sale.
