Terms & Conditions, right of withdrawal and company details

§ 1 Scope and definitions

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, "you" or "your" refer to the person ordering one or more products through our website.

1.2 "we", "us" or "our" refer to Perro Collection, a trade name of PC B.V., the Netherlands. Our full company details are set out in the "Company details" section at the bottom of this page.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website.

§ 2 Products and orders

2.1 Any order you place is an offer by you to buy products. We accept that offer when we receive your payment, not before.

2.2 If we cannot supply the products you ordered, we will offer you the option to cancel your order or place an alternative order. If necessary we may cancel your order, or you may cancel it before we have dispatched the products to you (see § 6).

2.3 We may change or adjust the exact details of products at any time. Where possible, we will inform you of changes affecting your order before dispatch.

§ 3 Prices and payment

3.1 The prices shown for the products do not include shipping and packaging costs; these are shown separately during checkout.

3.2 All features, content, specifications, products and prices may change at any time without notice. Weights, measurements and similar descriptions are approximate. We make every effort to represent the characteristics of our products accurately, including colours; however, the colour actually displayed depends on your screen and we cannot guarantee its accuracy.

§ 4 Shipping and delivery

4.1 Once received, your order is processed within 1-2 business days. Once it has been checked, packed and made ready for dispatch, you will receive a track and trace code by email. Please also check your spam folder.

Shipping Netherlands: 1-2 business days

Shipping Europe: 2-5 business days

Shipping outside Europe: 5-7 business days

Delivery times are always estimates and do not include processing time. Perro Collection is not responsible for delays during transit.

4.2 Duties, taxes and fees: Perro Collection does not cover taxes or duties for national or international shipping. Any additional fees on delivery are the responsibility of the customer. For more information, contact your local customs office or tax authority.

4.3 We ship the products to the address provided at the time of your order. Once the order has been processed, the address can no longer be changed.

§ 5 Defects, transit damage and warranty

5.1 If the products you receive are damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. After you return the damaged products together with the packaging for inspection, we will send you a replacement. In this case we refund the shipping costs.

5.2 Provided the conditions of this section are met and the returned products prove to be damaged or faulty, we will replace them.

5.3 If a delivery does not match the description or quantity of your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

5.4 We cannot remedy any shortage, damage or fault if you do not notify us as set out above.

5.5 Legal guarantee of conformity: if you buy as a consumer, you are entitled to the statutory legal guarantee of conformity under applicable EU consumer law (in the Netherlands, under the Dutch Civil Code; in Italy, 24 months under the Codice del Consumo). This legal guarantee is free of charge and prevails over any commercial warranty.

5.6 Voluntary commercial warranty: in addition to the legal guarantee, we offer a voluntary 6-month commercial warranty covering manufacturing and workmanship faults only. It does not cover damage or distortion caused by normal wear and tear, misuse or failure to care for the leather, nor discolouration of the leather and hardware over time. Within the first 6 months, repairs are free of charge, provided the item is deemed faulty and the fault does not result from external circumstances. This commercial warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

5.7 Personalized tag warranty: we offer a voluntary 3-month commercial warranty on the fading of the gold stamp on your personalized tag. If it fades within the first 3 months, customers who purchased through our website may receive a new tag; email us with your order number. Replacement tags are only available in the same colour collection and with the same letter as the original. Beyond the warranty period, a new personalized tag is chargeable.

5.8 To make a warranty claim, your order must have been placed through our official website. Please include proof of purchase and photos of the manufacturing fault. Without proof of the defect we cannot accept the claim under the commercial warranty. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

§ 6 Withdrawal and returns

6.1 If you buy as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The details are set out in the "Right of withdrawal" section at the bottom of this page.

6.2 In the event of a valid withdrawal, we refund the full amount. For a full refund, the products must be returned with their original packaging, in the same condition in which they were delivered, and not handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop.

6.3 We may withhold an amount corresponding to any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

6.4 The direct costs of returning the products are borne by you.

6.5 Please include customer-identifying information with every return, such as the original dispatch note. Without this information we may be unable to process your return, or to do so promptly.

6.6 Until we receive the goods, we are not responsible for returned products. We strongly recommend a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of postage.

6.7 Refunds are made in the currency of the original payment and to the same means of payment. If you paid with a gift card, the refund is made to a gift card. Due to exchange-rate fluctuations, the refunded amount may differ from the amount originally paid.

6.8 The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized products (made to your individual specification), in accordance with applicable consumer law. Personalized items may only be exchanged for the same type of product, in the same colour, in a different size.

6.9 Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal, we do not offer voluntary returns for discounted or personalized items. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

§ 7 Note on hardware

7.1 Where an item features gold-coloured or rose-gold-coloured hardware, we cannot guarantee that it will remain as new. The items are intended for everyday use; the multi-layer plated hardware may therefore change colour over time.

§ 8 Liability

8.1 Perro Collection items are accessories only and are not safety, restraint or protective devices. The use of the product and the safety of the pet and handler are entirely at the discretion and responsibility of the purchaser and/or user.

8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perro Collection's liability is excluded, in particular for damage arising from: the use or suitability of the product; the properties of the materials, the choice of size and use by the user; the behaviour of the dog, which remains at all times the responsibility of the owner/handler; personalization, where initials, text or details are supplied by the customer, who is responsible for their accuracy; and the access to or use of this website and its content.

8.3 Where our liability is excluded or limited, this also applies to indirect and consequential damages and to loss of profit. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the price paid for the product concerned.

8.4 The foregoing limitations do not apply in the event of intent or gross negligence, in the event of injury to life, body or health, in cases of liability for defective products under applicable law, or in any other case where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law. The mandatory rights that the law grants you as a consumer remain unaffected in all cases.

8.5 This website and its content are provided "as is". We do not warrant the timeliness, completeness or accuracy of the materials provided.

8.6 We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue individual features or the entire website at any time without notice.

§ 9 Final provisions

9.1 All contracts between you and us are governed by the law of the Netherlands; the competent court is Amsterdam. If you are a consumer, the mandatory provisions protecting you remain applicable and the courts of your place of residence or domicile remain competent.

9.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

9.3 We have the right to transfer, assign or subcontract all or part of our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another organisation.

9.4 We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time by publishing new conditions on this website.

Right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires after fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Perro Collection, PC B.V., info@perrocollection.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (for example, personalized items with an engraved initial), in accordance with applicable consumer law.
